About Us

We (Royal & Karl) started providing music for college events in the late 1980’s. We DJ’d our first wedding in September of 1990, and have been DJing weddings and similar events ever since. We have provided entertainment as far away as Indiana and Wisconsin.

By combining the DJing and Royal’s magic talent, we have found that we can provide an enhanced entertainment service that can add a special touch to your event. Royal can perform magic entertaining your guests during cocktail hour and/or after dinner, moving from table to table in an informal, casual manner, entertaining your guests.

Why should you hire us?

We believe in providing good music and good lighting, resulting in a fun atmosphere your guests will enjoy. We do not believe in DJ’s who have an "act", like playing air guitar, dancing on the speakers, or dressing up like Elvis. We do not have pre-selected sets of music to play. Each event is unique, and we approach our music selection that way. Would you rather enjoy the music or listen to a DJ talk?

If you opt to have a strolling magician, Royal is quiet, professional and a pleasant close-up entertainer. There will be no "adult humor", material or foul language. The entertainment will be tailored for your event in advance.

Professionalism

We will treat you with respect, and understand what your event means to you. We work with you prior to the event, making sure very detail is understood. We arrive well before your guests, making sure we are set up and ready to go, as opposed to dragging our equipment in during cocktail hour.

Equipment

We have professional equipment that provides high quality sound. We have back up equipment on hand, just in case problems occur. To date, we have never needed to use our backup equipment.

Lighting

We have a professional lighting system, not just a small stick in the corner with 3 blinking lights and a small disco ball.
